What keeps your entrepreneurial spirit alive?
My vision drives where I want to take the company and what it must do. In addition, the ample possibilities that our South African environment provides, and the need to be part of a solution (education, jobs) enlivens what I do. Also, my constant need to be doing something different definitely keeps me engaged.
What makes you different from your competitors?
We have found a way of packaging our consulting services into products instead of merely offering a list of services. This innovation was piloted in December 2016 and has gained us new clients (they would not do business with us if it were not for this). We are the only company offering environmental compliance auditing as a packaged product.
What words of advice do you live by?
I am here to win or learn, I never lose – this resonates particularly with my business journey.
I cannot pour from an empty cup – I have had to learn this at a personal level.
There is never a perfect time to do anything, you just have to start – I love this, in all spheres of my life.
When I am feeling demotivated, I always remember why I started; this has a way of kicking me back to touch.
